Curata ensured the best copywriters were rewarded for their work, helped companies deliver a clear and consistent message, and cut down on unwanted spam emails.

Enterprise contact centre software. UI development, developer tooling, and localization infrastructure. Joined prairieFyre Software, which was acquired by Mitel in 2013.

MiContact Centre helps callers get the assistance they need in a timely manner, and frees up agents from tedious tasks so they can focus on providing that help.

Backend and data services supporting the team of humans supporting Alexa. A globally distributed team focused on machine learning and natural language processing.

Worked to make sure Alexa gets it right and provides a consistent, convenient, and helpful experience for users worldwide.

Online video platform. Video player, content publishing workflows, and integrations for media customers. Gave back to the software community with Video.js, an open source player free for broadcasters.

Head web designer at 3B Designs. Ran a consultancy out of my father's computer retail store, building the first web presence for small town businesses. Client consultations, site builds and maintenance. Java and PHP for forums and dynamic sites, mostly coded using Dreamweaver and FrontPage.

Made the web accessible to my corner of rural Ontario, keeping us included in the new digital economy.
