Strong Towns Ottawa

A community of advocates pushing for a more financially resilient and livable Ottawa. Canvassed in support of housing affordability, public transit, and sustainable city building. Participated in the book club, and helped out with the website and election resources.

Technovation Girls — Ottawa Chapter

Volunteer mentor with Technovation Girls, a global education program where teens interested in STEM use technology and entrepreneurship to solve problems in their communities.

Door-to-door outreach and communication. Kept the conversation flowing between WECA and the community.

Festival volunteer supporting one of Ottawa's signature summer events.

Helped build the campus gaming community that later fed into competitive team leadership.

President (2009–2011). Previously VP Social Affairs (2007–2009) and VP Communications Anglophone (2006–2007).

As CSSA president, I also served as a Faculty Council Student Member for the School of Information Technology and Engineering, and served one year as Chair of the Engineering Students' Society.
